You know what they say: the bigger they come, the harder they fall. For the Giants, then, it has been a colossal crash. Riding high after winning two Super Bowls under no-nonsense coach Tom Coughlin, New York's representatives in the NFC East have not won a playoff game since 2012. Odell Beckham Jr. (pictured during happier times with Giants QB Eli Manning) joined the team in 2014. Beckham went viral in 2014 for his legendary one-handed touchdown reception against the Dallas Cowboys. Blamed for the playoff drought, Coughlin was pushed out after the 2015 season, setting into motion a revolving door for head coaches ever since. Despite Beckham's immense popularity and record-setting talent, the Giants organization decided to trade him to the Cleveland Browns this year. The New York Giants' new coach Pat Shurmur has repeatedly stressed the importance of team values and cohesion, which many interpret as an indirect shot at Beckham, a superstar player on what has become a bad team. In order to foster this vaunted team camaraderie, Shurmur has introduced a ping-pong table to the Giants' locker room. Not settling for casual pick-up games, the Giants will run an actual team tournament, brackets and all. New Giants receiver Golden Tate, seen training this summer with Olympian Wei Wang, will certainly look forward to returning from a four-game suspension and join the action. For his part, Odell Beckham Jr. was recently seen playing ping-pong at the Cleveland Browns' gym with fellow receiver Jarvis Landry. Jilted Giants fans are left to wonder: Had the table arrived a year earlier, could the Giants have worked it out with Beckham?
